Help support the Hudson Valley Blues Society!
The HVBS celebrated our two-year anniversary in November 2020, and we have worked tirelessly to bring quality blues music to venues and audiences within New York’s Hudson Valley.
With our member's generous support, it helped us to bring national acts such as Victor Wainwright and the Train, IBC winner Kevin Burt, John Nemeth and many more, to our Hudson Valley venues.
There were opportunities for our HVBS member musicians and bands to perform as supporting and main acts throughout the region.
The Ian Bennett Memorial Fund was established to support local Hudson Valley musicians who are struggling with medical and health-related financial needs.
We understand that it has been a rough year with the lack of music programming in the Hudson Valley. But the HVBS board continued to work hard and created our fundraising project – “Blues Alive in the Valley: The Lockdown Sessions”- a double CD featuring 23 original songs that includes HVBS Member Bands, and Hudson Valley musicians who tour nationally.
The board continues brainstorming projects and events for when restrictions are lifted from this pandemic, so we can go back to enjoying live performances.
All membership dollars, along with future donations and sponsorships, help support our continuing goals. Join us!
