HVBS Annual Blues Benefit 2021
(November 13, 2021)
Bringing the Blues to the Hudson Valley! Second Annual Blues Benefit Fundraiser:
Wow, what a great night for the Hudson Valley Blues Society! It was a beautiful night of music, food, drinks and fun!
Live music was performed by the Menza Madison Band and Adam Power Project, the winners of local HVBS “Road to Memphis” Challenge. All the proceeds from this fundraiser helped cover their expenses to represent the NY Hudson Valley at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis (January 2022). Funds were raised from the HVBS Local Blues Challenge, Benefit dinner/show tickets, guitar raffle, donations and online auction.

When the evening was over, we wanted to acknowledge the following:
- Thank you to the Menza Madison Band and Adam Power Project for a great night of music, and giving the audience a taste of things to come in Memphis.
- Thank you to our HVBS board who worked hard to bring the entire year to a final point of celebration for our 2nd Anniversary Benefit, and the final performance from our local challenge winners on Hudson Valley grounds….next stop Memphis for the International Blues Challenge (January 2022).
- Thank you to the Elks Club of Beacon for hosting us at their lodge. The staff was the best ever, and they worked hard to accommodate a large crowd.
- Thank you to Cristy Benvenutti for her decorating and organizing skills! The room was beautifully coordinated, the silent auction was a success, and the evening flowed effortlessly.
- And a BIG thank you to all who attended, and our HVBS community at-large. Without your support we could not continue in “Keeping the Blues Alive in the Valley.” Stay tuned for more in the upcoming year!
