Family Music Fun

Join instructor David Meyers for an hour of interactive music and song. A fun event for the whole family. No experience necessary!
​You can be part of the music experience in "Family Music Fun". Come touch and play several different instruments in this all-ages, all-abilities community jam session. David Meyers is a music teacher and composer with over 150 songs that are easy to play, sing and move to. He is the owner of RockonMusicSchool which specializes in Accessible Music programs for those impacted by autism or other disabilities. Cigar Box Guitar Workshop with Scott Heller
The origin of the cigar box guitars can be traced back to 1840. Scott Heller built his first cigar box guitar in 2012 and has worked with groups from schools, churches, and other community organizations, leading cigar box guitar-building workshops. In this workshop, participants will build their own personal cigar box guitar to take home. Scott guides and supports you through each step of the building process. All materials are included.

Improve your harp skills with this multi-talented, award-winning harmonica musician and entertainer hailing from Memphis. Tony’s drive and his incredible talent on the harmonica have earned the soulful singer opening spots with people from many genres including Willie Nelson, BB King, Steve Miller Band, Jason Isbell, Blind Boys of Alabama, and Charlie Musselwhite to mention just a few. Native New Yorker, keyboardist, singer, and songwriter, Dave is a 30-year veteran of the Blues and American Roots music scenes. He recently released his 7th CD, “Rhythm, Blues & Boogie” in October 2022, featuring special guest legendary drummer Bernard Purdie and others. The 3x Blues Music Award nominee finds his roots in deep blues, soul, and rock and roll.
